Toolbox Training Topics

Safety Training and education is a critical part of any loss prevention program or activity. KMIT believes that keeping city employees fully aware of their surroundings and equipment that they work with is a vital part of day to day activities. KMIT created Toolbox Training Topics that member cities may use to train city employees. Click on the link for access to the various topics to address hazards many employees are exposed to while performing their job. If you prefer to have a hard copy Toolbox Training Notebook sent to your city, contact IMA Risk Control Coordinator Ivey Beck (Ivey.Beck@imacorp.com) or call (316) 267-9221.

You can access KMIT Toolbox Training Topics through the Document Center.

Safety Policies and Procedures

Employers are required to have health and safety policies tailored to the hazards of their workplace. KMIT has developed template safety manual policies that are available to our member cities that can be customized to fit your needs. This list of template programs on our website does not necessarily cover all hazards in the workplace. If your city needs a policy that is not available on the website, contact IMA Risk Control for assistance.

You can access KMIT Safety Manual Template Programs through the Document Center.

KMIT Open Enrollment Training Courses

Each year the KMIT/IMA Risk Control Team offers training courses around the state on various topics to help with compliance and employees safety. The training courses are FREE to KMIT member cities.
